Artemide-News-Gople- Best-of-year-winner-2018-Award

Gople Lamp designed by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group won a 2018 Interior Design Best of Year Award in the pendant lighting category.

Interior Design’s Best of Year is the design industry’s premiere design awards program, honoring the most significant work of the year as well as recognizing designers, architects and manufacturers from around the globe.

Now celebrating its 13th year, Interior Design’s Best of Year has become the ultimate measure of excellence, showcasing what’s happening today in every category of design while simultaneously setting the bar even higher for the future.

Gople Lamp reconciles human spaces and nature through light. A mouth-blown glass produced according to an ancient traditional venetian technique encloses a patented RWB light technology that helps plants grow, creates scenic or ambient lighting, and provides functional white lighting.

It is a testimony of  Artemide’s continued research on the quality of light and its color and a new chapter of the fruitful partnership between Artemide and BIG, following the success of the Alphabet of Light family.
